Work permit — application procedure4 steps
01Confirm your categoryPick the permit above that matches your role and length of stay. Your employer or sponsor in Fiji usually initiates the application.
02Prepare your documentsDownload the application form and check the fees for your category on the forms & fees page. A security bond may be required before the permit is granted.
03Lodge onlineSubmit your application and documents through the IMMI HUB portal. Do not lodge while overstaying a current permit — the application may be refused.
04Track and follow upTrack progress in IMMI HUB. You may follow up with the Ministry after 30 working days via the enquiry form.

Bonds & appeals


Bond refundA bond is a sum paid as security before a permit is granted. When your permit ends, you can apply to have it refunded.Apply for a bond refund →
