Overview and description
Summary: This permit is issued to a non-citizen employed by a foreign company with income and work location outside of Fiji. The applicant for this category is an employee of a foreign company which has an agreement or contract with a local company for specific projects. The validity of this permit is limited to one (01) year.

Criteria
- The Ministry reserves all rights to acquire additional documents for further verification, as and when required

- Registered agents may apply on behalf of the company
- There is no extension to this permit
- Under the Immigration Act 2003 Part 2 Section 5(4)(b) – Providing false information in this application can lead to imprisonment or a fine or both.
Conditions
- Be medically fit to work/reside in Fiji
- No adverse police record
Validity: One (1) year or less
Who can apply
- Applicant must be a person over 18 years of age
- Applicant should be a non-Fiji citizen
- Applicant of a foreign company assigned to work on a specific project in Fiji
Who cannot apply
- Applicants below 18 years of age
- Applicant who holds a study, residence, investor or visitor permit
- Foreign nationals who are not employed by an overseas company or who do not have an agreement between the overseas employers and local employers
- Dependents of the principal applicant
Required documentation
Documents that must be gathered before starting the application:
- Police report for the applicant from the country of citizenship and/or residence where he/she has lived for twelve (12) months or more
- Agreement between local and overseas employer

Primary applicant
- Certified copy of passport photo
- National Police report (1 year validity)
- Medical report (3 months validity)
- Certified copy of passport biodata page
- Signed Terms and Conditions form (satisfaction of clauses 11 & 12)
- Consent and Declaration form
- Invitation Letter from the Local Company/Organization
Employer
- Letter from the Overseas Employer (on company letterhead)
- Contractual Agreement between the Overseas Employer and the Local Company
