Passport Services Update  

The Ministry of Immigration wishes to inform the public that 30,000 passport books have landed and received at the Immigration Office in Suva. This batch is part of the 100,000 books that is being printed by our supplier in Germany.  The remaining 70,000 will arrive in Fiji over the next few months. The process of ordering another 100,000 has commenced.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Extension of the “Adherence to Application Requirements and Processing Guidelines”. The Ministry of Immigration advises that the “Adherence to Application Requirements and Processing Guidelines” has been extended for three (3) months, from June to August 2025. This follows its effective date on 8th May 2025.

UPDATE ON THE ONLINE PERMIT PROCESSING SYSTEM

The Fiji Immigration Department wishes to advise the public that the commencement of the on-line permit processing system has been rescheduled to Tuesday 9 September 2024, to allow more robust testing of processing functionality for user convenience.

Launch of Online Permit Processing

CASHLESS TRANSACTION

The Fiji Immigration Department (“Department”) wishes to advise members of the public that from Monday 29 January 2024, the Department will no longer accept payments made with cash or cheques.
